The Life Flow of Worship

During our time gathered on Sunday morning, we greet one another with love, sing praises to the Lord, take communion together, give cheerfully, hear Biblical teaching, search our hearts for conviction, and make changes that are needed.  We strive to love the Lord with all of our hearts, soul, mind, and stregth.

Many people today confuse worship with ONE day a week, ONE specific thing to do, or ONE time during the day.  at CONCORD CHRISTIAN, we do nt follow this pattern.  We believe that worship is a LIFE thing.

The church is the living body of Christ.  The Bible teaches that we are seated with Christ on High, and we are united with him by faith.  His Spirit dwells in us!  OUr worship should be holy, pure, and heartfelt.  At CONCORD CHRISTIAN, our goal is to make our worship our life.  In the words of Matt Redman,

"I'll bring you more than a song, for a song in itself is not what you have required.  You search more deeper wthin, through the way things appear.  You're looking into my heart."

Opportunities to Serve

1. Musicians:  If you are an active musician who wants to use your giftedness in corporate worship
2. Vocalists:  If you want to sing in a choir or praise team
3. Worship Choir:  If you are interested in singing in a large group every other month as the vocal team on Sunday Mornings.
