Staff at Concord Christian Church
A graduate of Kentucky Christian University majoring in Christian Ministries, Jeff came to Concord Christian with 20 years of ministry experience, 15 of which in the Lead Minister role. Jeff has ministered in churches in Kentucky and Ohio. Jeff is married to his best friend, Brenna and have two children, Brent and Bree. Of ministry and the church Jeff says, “I am most passionate about people making a first time decision for Christ. I believe the number one purpose of the church is to reach out to the lost, connect them to the church and help them grow in a closer relationship with Jesus Christ.”
Bob Wallace, Executive Minister
Born and raised a buckeye (Akron, OH), Bob came to Concord Christian in April, 2006. Bob has a variety of leadership training and life 
experiences from serving in the Navy to working as a Financial Controller for several manufacturing firms after graduating with a B.S. in Accounting from Akron (Ohio) University. Bob obtained a Master's degree in New Testament and Preaching from Johnson Bible College (Knoxville. TN). Bob accepted Christ at the age of 14 and has been active in church throughout his life. Bob married his high school sweetheart, Cheri (Aug. 1976) and they have two children and three grandkids. Bob entered full-time ministry in 2000 and ministered in churches in York, PA and Marengo, IN prior to coming to Concord. In his spare time he enjoys time with the grandkids as well as hiking and backpacking.
WORSHIP MINISTRY
James has been in ministry since 1993, serving in youth ministry, associate ministry, and worship ministry. He graduated from Cincinnati Christian University with a B. S. in Bible and General Studies. James and Stacy married in 1996 and have ministered together in Georgia, Indiana, and now in North Carolina. James credits the following people with his spiritual development: Todd Wuske, Joanie Grimm, Dan Garrett, Webby Oglesby and the professors at CCU. Musically, he was mentored by Buddy Pulliam, Clay Coburn, Ken Read and Casper McCloud. His favorite songwriters are: Rich Mullins, Bono, Brenton Brown and Sting.
STUDENT MINISTRY

Eric joined the Concord Christian Church staff on May 31, 2007. His hometown is Stella, VA, a small community in the Southwestern part of the state. Eric is a graduate of Roanoke Bible College in Elizabeth City, NC, where he received a degree in Bible and Theology with a minor in cross-cultural missions. There he met his soul mate and best friend, Bree Hugus. Eric and Bree were married on May 12, 2007 in Greenford, OH. Eric loves staying active by participating in any and all sports. He is also a fan of movies, the TV show “24” and the outdoors. Eric and Bree currently reside in Concord.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
Bree Pruitt, Childrens Director
Bree was born in Shelbyville, Kentucky, and grew up in Salem, Ohio. Bree accepted Christ at the age of 9. Bree is a graduate of Roanoke Bible College in Elizabeth City, NC, where she received a degree in Bible and Theology with a minor in youth ministry on the children’s ministry track. Bree served on the school’s recruitment team where she worked with and eventually married her best friend, Eric Pruitt. Bree and Eric were married on May 12, 2007 in Greenford, OH. Bree loves playing a variety of sports and also likes to dance and shop.
Mel Verburg, Early Childhood Administrator
Mel group up in Tobaccoville, NC and is a graduate of Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC where she received her degree in Intergraded Marketing and Communication. While at Winthrop she met her husband Mark. She has spend the last 6 years working with volunteers in local non-profit organizations. She and her husband Mark have two beautiful girls, Carson and Reese. Mel likes to learn new things, go new places, and meet new people. The list of what she doesn't like to do is probably shorter; taking chicken off the bone and vacuuming - that's about it!
FINANCE
Sabrina Armstrong, Financial Administrator
Sabrina grew up in Statesville, NC and attended NC State University. She received her Business Management degree with a concentration in Human Resouces and Accounting. She has a Masters degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Phoenix. Sabrina is married
to Andy Armstrong, who she met in college and they have one daughter, Tabitha. They have lived in Kannapolis since March 2001. In her spare time Sabrina works with local non-profit organizations as a logistics volunteer. She also enjoys going to the movies and theatrical performances with her family.
ALL GOD'S CHILDREN PRESCHOOL
Jamie Emmons, All God's Children Preschool Director
Jamie comes to us from California where she was born and raised. She attended Moorpark College, studing Early Childhood Education with anemphasis on Administration. She has successfully designed, developed, and implemented curriculums and assessments during her time in California. Married to Josh in June, 2000 they have two children, Faith & Austin. Jamie is active in life groups at Concord Christian.
Beth Gregory, All God's Children Preschool Assistant
Beth was born in LaCrosse, WI and grew up most of her life in Holmen, WI. She married Dana in June of 2004 and have two children, MaKenna and Joshua. They have been attending Concord Christian Church since January of 2008.

SUPPORT STAFF
Janice and her family came to Concord Christian Church in 1992. In 1993 she began doing the church bulletin on a part time basis. Janice accepted the position as church secretary in 1998.
Marlene Scruggs, Administrative Assistant
Marlene was born and raised within 20 miles of Concord. She started attending CCC in March, 2000. She has been actively involved as a servant since coming to CCC and in February, 2004, she accepted the position of Administrative Assistant.
