the POST

As many as 60% of today's young adults leave the church permanently!  That is a disturbing number.  Listen to some of the reasons why:

• Isolationism:  the church is against everything outside of church
• Shallowness:  the church is boring and irrelevant
• Anti-science:  the church is out of touch with scientific developments
• Sex:  the church is judgmental towards differing lifestyles
• Exclusivity:  the church is against pluralism in this multi-cultural age
• Doubters:  the church is not a safe place to express doubts and ask questions

Concord Christian understands the next generation and is happy to announce the launching of the POST!

The POST is a new ministry for 18-25 year olds at CCC.  Its' purpose is to connect young adults to each other, to Christ and to the church.  A few ways this will take place are through social events, study sessions and service opportunities.  What this is NOT:  a boring Sunday School class that isn't relevant.  What this IS:  A community of believers with similar life circumstances who are actively pursuing our spiritual truths.

Married, single, children, no children, in college, working full time, part time, or doing nothing right now - if you are 18-25 the POST is for you!
