Reunion

Check Out Reunion: As an intergenerational time of WORSHIP, LEARNING & CONNECTING where we explore the classic lessons of faith...in memorable ways!                                                                                                                                                              Wednesdays 6:30 - 8:00 pm

When you arrive...
You are welcome to take your infants and preschoolers to their classes before going to the auditorium. Elementary kids, students, and adults will begin together in the auditorium at 6:30. As you enter, take a moment to sign in your kids and students. Adults should also sign in for a life-stage group at this time (see more group details under CONNECTING).

What to Expect?
THE UNEXPECTED!

WORSHIP
Wow! Wednesday nights have never looked like this before! We begin with intergenerational worship promptly at 6:30 in the Concord Christian Church auditorium. Our music will feature a variety, including songs for the young and young at heart!

LEARNING
This is where things might get a little unexpected. During worship, we'll have a moment of creative teaching each week. What does that mean? Well, we can't give everything away, but we can tell you that it will be unique each week and we have a dynamic teaching team being assembled for this adventure! Our goal is to present classic stories and lessons of faith in memorable ways. We begin Fall 09 with all kinds of life lessons from Moses and friends. Every age and stage of life has something to learn!

CONNECTING
Around 7:00, we will break into life stage groups for further discussion/activities so what we learn we take to heart. It's for ALL ages! You will be directed as to where to go following worship and lesson time. At 8:00, parents need to reconnect with their younger kids in their classrooms. Here's a breakdown of our various life stage groups:

K-1st GR... 2nd & 3rd GR... 4th & 5th GR groups will travel with their group leaders to the lower mobile units for fun games, crafts and discussion of the lesson.

Middle school students will hop down to the Foundation where they will engage in activities and break into smaller groups with student coaches leading discussions.

High School students zip across the street to Covenant Classical School with student coaches for activity and small group time.

Adults: Yes! You have life-stage groups as well!  There are no hard and fast rules about which group to choose, but here is a general guide:

• The Breakers Group is for those that feel like they are just breaking into adulthood.

• The Busters Group is for those who are busting into family life for the first time.

• The Bridgers Group is for those that are bridging family, faith and career.

• The Boomers Group is for those that are booming with experience in faith, family or career.

• The Builders Group is for those building a legacy. They've been there...done that!

SERVING
The vision for Reunion is HUGE! Would you like to be a part of making it a success for our church and community? We are looking for:

• Group champions for all ages from infants to adults

• Technology champions to learn light, sound & media

• Creative champions to help with drama, construction and/or stage set up

• Music champions to play, sing and generally rock out

If you are interested in any of these serving opportunities, contact Steve Petty.
